So I guess Cara is really taking this super-blogger status to her head, creating tags and everything. Of course I will oblige, who doesn't like listing their top five pet peeves?

My Pet Peeve Tag
1. Over-laughers in movies. I seem to always sit in front of the guy in the movies who for one wasn't blessed with a pleasant laugh, but one of those high-pitched squeals or those throaty out-bursts. Then he will generously release it at times that don't nearly deserve the embarrassment of exposing it to the movie-watching public. It always ruins my concentration (some of you know how concentrated I really get when it comes to movies).
2. Open cupboards. They drive me crazy. This was before the scene in sixth sense too; I don't know where it came from. You can imagine my anxiety when we move into this old house where the hinges are so shot that none of our cupboards would close. Fast forward two weeks, we're remodeling the kitchen.
3. People who clip their nails in public. I hate Hate when people clip their finger (or toes- seen that too!) nails in public. Specially when they make no effort to retrieve them and let them fly willy nilly all over the place. Eric had a guy in his class who clipped his toenails in class, while eating a salad. eww!
4. I can sometimes be my own pet peeve. I peeve myself off when I do really ditzy things that end up inconveniencing me for a much longer period of time than it is worth. Case in Point: One time I was driving home from work all while talking to my sister on the phone. (This is usually the task I'm doing when these notoriously ditzy moments occur). Anyway, I was driving home, I get off the 215 exit, wait at the light, then I turn right back onto the freeway. And of course the next exit it the on ramp to I-15 so I have to pass that and get off on the very exit my work is located on to turn around and get back home. I literally had to drive home twice in one fail sweep.
5. Mormons who don't know how to bear a testimony. So Eric and I are really feeling a great spirit this past testimony meeting, then this lady gets up and basically chastises the whole ward for not visiting her enough. Oh people were nice enough at church but she only had two or three visits from the ward members per month (this actually could be a sixth pet peeve for me, more than one visit from a ward member a month). I think the only time she said she had a testimony was when she said, "..it's a good thing I have such a strong testimony...". Anyway, we all felt like crap afterwards.

What is wrong with Minima?
So I finally broke down and got a blog today. It took me awhile to get interested because come on, we don't have kids and that seems to be one of the main topics of discussion on these things. But after talking to Missy about all the cool programming you can do on it, I was sold. Being a graphic designer I feel a lot of pressure to do something really hip, but to be honest I am really liking this Minima layout. So even after the only thing to sell me on getting a blog was the customizing features, I am sticking with the most used blogging template of all. How ironic.
